Coach Pitch is generally for 6 , 7 and 8 year old boys and girls** in kindergarten and/or first grade. This league will continue to develop the basic fundamentals that were introduced in T-Ball. Batters will hit against pitches thrown by a pitching machine. Modified baseball rules are used to prepare players for the transition to the Traveling Rookies league. The Coach Pitch season is scheduled to start June 3 and run through July 17th (Rain out days – July 22 & 24th).
** 8 year olds are allowed to play in coach pitch if they are not yet ready for Rookies
Practice/games are Tue/Thur from 7pm-8pm at Quade Park.
SYB is a volunteer program and we are in need of coaches for the Coach Pitch season!
